I've been a part of the Health Science Programs Dean's office since 1989. I provide assistance to the Senior Associate Dean, including maintaining her calendar, which I found to both a challenge and pleasure, it's always interesting. I love the administrative world and consider myself a good facilitator. I love a good laugh and teasing my co-workers.

I am very excited to be directing my technical and creative abilities towards providing a richer online educational experience for students and faculty.
To me, creating an effective distance learning environment is like composing a harmony-filled piece of music. It requires a skillfully balanced mix of technical and creative elements that keep peoples' interest peaked and let learning and communications flow effortlessly. I am fortunate to be working with talented and dedicated people, as we make the team's goals of Teaching, Healing and Discovering, personal ones, as well.

I firmly believe that the way to reform healthcare is to recognize that spirituality is an essential element of healthcare and that compassionate and high quality healthcare is based on the spiritual values of service and love. For over fifteen years at GW, I have been developing creative, scholarly, and practical models of interdisciplinary spiritual care and teaching future clinicians and leaders in healthcare to integrate spirituality fully into their clinical practices. My passion is my clinical work and my teaching. My patients are my teachers and my students are the agents of change for creating better and more compassionate systems of care.
